Village HallThe Village Hall is a wonderful amenity. The main hall can seat up to 90 people and has a separate bar area, which can seat a further 40 or be used alone.
Facilities include exposed beams, fully equipped kitchen, toilets, outside garden, dart board, snooker table and disabled access. There are also tables and chairs for about 70.
The hall is run and maintained to a high standard by the Herriard & Lasham Branch of the Royal British Legion in partnership with Herriard Ex-Services Club.
As well as being used by local groups, such as the WI and Aerobics, for their regular meetings, the hall plays host to around 5 to 6 village events a year, including quiz nights, a firework BBQ and village drinks.
The hall is also frequently hired to villagers for private functions, such as birthday parties and wedding receptions, and is also used by a variety of local organizations for functions and events.
Residents of Herriard can hire the hall for a reduced rate of £40 for the evening. Non residents can also hire the hall. To find out more contact 01256 381599 (answer phone) or Tony Falconer on 01256 862084 for bookings.

The shop stocks 1600 items providing a full range of food, fresh fruit and vegetables delivered daily, delicious home cooked pies and quiches, homemade roulades, gateaux and much, much more.
Over the years the shop has developed a great reputation for its superb range of cheese and for the range of quality fresh breads that are baked and delivered the same morning.
The shop is licensed and offers a wide selection of wines, spirits and beers.
Orders can be placed for any items and if there is something you would like that is not on the shelves, the shop will do its best to obtain it for you.
