PC Andy Reid's Latest ReportDear residents Between 8pm on Saturday May 8th 2010 and Monday May 10th 2010, the new Herriard Green building site was again entered and an item of building equipment was stolen, The item went from the Weston Road end near to the main gate and I would ask that if anyone saw or heard anything if they could give me a call in confidence. I am aware that at about 4.30 am on Sunday May 9th 2010, a white van was seen with a man described as medium build, tall and smoking was seen in Hockleys Lane, Herriard, looking at the building site. If you know who this was, or if it was you out for a legitimate reason, or indeed you have any information, please do call. I am pleased to report no other reported crime within the area at the time of writing. We are however, extremely keen to receive reports concerning suspected drink drivers, which sadly do increase during the summer months. I can assure you that we act upon any information provided included anonymous tips to crime stoppers, my advice is 'if you think you can drink and drive ~ think again' we will catch you. Many thanks.
