Herriard Green

Before work started on the Herriard Village Centre development

Organised by the Herriard Village Centre Committee and following more than 10 years of hard work, the Village Centre Plan is in the process of being realised!

The final planning approval was granted on 24 June 2008 and works have now started.  Follow the bulletins below for the latest development news!

The Herriard Village Charity has sold building land to Bewley Homes in exchange for which they will build sports facilities and provide associated landscaping, in addition to making a payment to the charity that will be kept as a maintenance fund for the future. Following completion of the building and grounds works, the area will be owned and maintained by the Herriard Village Charity.

The plans for the Village Centre, to be known as Herriard Green, can be viewed at the Herriard Estate Office - just ring 01256 381275 to arrange a visit anytime during working hours.  They can also be viewed online at www.basingstoke.gov.uk/planning
